Q. I am concerned about releasing my credit card details over the web, should I be?

A) Paying for an item using our online secure payment system is extremely safe. The web payment system used by Liberty Games is the ultra secure ‘Protx’ system. (For in depth information regarding Protx systems please visit www.protx.co.uk). The system is also backed up by a fraud tracking system known as ‘3rd Man’ which provides an additional protective firewall to your details.

Q. Is it possible to place an order and make payment by telephone instead of purchasing through the website?

A) Yes. Liberty Games sales advisors are available to assist you and process orders from 10am till 6pm Monday to Friday. Your payment details will be taken verbally and entered into our in house PDQ machine. A full receipt of your purchase will then be sent to you by first class post with the transaction number as your reference.

Q. Will my contact details ever be given out to a 3rd party?

A) No. Your details remain in locked files on the Liberty Games server and will not be sold or accessed by any third party

Q. What is the cost of delivery for my item?

A) Due to the variety of products we supply the shipping costs are calculated on a per product basis. To find the shipping cost of the product you are interested in simply click the ‘buy’ button. This leads you to a second page asking where you require the goods to be shipped (England, Scotland, Wales) a figure will then appear and the total cost is automatically calculated. As a guide, the standard shipping cost for Lightweight pool tables is £15-25. Slate bed pool tables and large Jukeboxes are usually shipped at £70-00 (installation charges differ) Arcade machines and Fruit Machines are usually shipped at £59 (installation charges differ)

Q. Can I request to have my machine/pool table installed by an engineer?

A) Yes we have an engineer network that is able to install your machine for you. In many cases however these machines are simply ‘plug in and play’ and the additional cost of installation is not necessary. For arcade machines that require some assembly we will advise at the point of sale that organising an installation engineer would be appropriate. Installation is also available on pool tables, however many people decide to take on the light assembly themselves. Usually all that is required is to bolt on the legs and drop the slate into the top of the table. The price for installation differs slightly depending on your location in the UK. Please contact a sales advisor for the prices in your area and the name of the engineer who covers that region

Q. What are your opening hours?

A) Liberty Games operates from 10am till 6pm Monday-Friday and by appointment only on Saturdays. (Opening hours are due to extend in line with demand so look out for web updates soon)

Q. Do you have a showroom I can visit?

A) Yes, Liberty Games operates as a retail warehouse. It is worth noting that we do not display all of the items shown on our website. In some cases products are built from order and sent to you directly from the manufacturers. With regard to the arcade machines, in many cases these machines are still operating in our arcade sites and get removed from site and into Liberty Games for reconditioning at the point of order.

Q. What happens if my machine goes wrong?

A) Any products that are purchased brand new are generally covered by a 1-year manufacturers warranty. These warranties usually cover repair or replacement of the goods.

Second hand or reconditioned equipment is covered in a different way. All our reconditioned equipment comes with a 1, 2 or 3-month parts warranty. In 90% of cases should a machine develop a fault the appropriate part can be sent to you the next day. Modular designs mean that swapping of parts is extremely easy (plug in and play)

Should you require an engineer to visit we send out our own engineers for repairs in the South East. We then have self-employed Liberty Games engineers who are based in the South West and North of England to cover service outside our immediate area (this service is charged for.)

Q. Can you find me a machine not listed on your website?

A. Yes, we have a dedicated sourcing team who track down whatever machine you are looking for. If you have seen the machine in an arcade or remember playing a particular game some time ago we can usually find the original game or a multi arcade consol that has that game on the system.

Q. What room size do I require to house a pool table?

A) We would recommend that you allow 5ft of cueing room around the periphery of the pool table you choose. This is the length of a standard pool cue. Obviously some rooms will have areas where the cueing room is restricted; this can be mitigated by purchasing a half-length cue.

Q. Do I need a licence to have a gaming machine at home?

A) If the machine is purchased solely for home entertainment use then you do not require a permit to have the machine. If you are an operator or wish to operate these machines for financial gain you must hold a valid gaming licence and source the appropriate documentation from the local council. You will be asked to sign a disclaimer at the point of delivery or collection confirming you understand these rules. Liberty Games can and will refuse to sell a gaming machine if we have any reason to believe the intended use is for financial gain and the purchaser does not provide the appropriate licences.

Q. Can your arcade machines, pool tables and fruit machines be set on free-play?

A) Yes, nearly all the products we sell that begin life as ‘coin operated’ can be set to free play for home use

Q. Can I call up and ask advice on which products would best suit my requirements.

A) Absolutely, our sales advisors are here to provide you with all the information you require to help make an informed purchasing decision. It is really worth calling up to get their views on the products and to discuss which products would best suit your requirements. A) There are discounts available for multiple purchases. These can be discussed with a Liberty Games sales advisor either through email or by telephone.

Q. Do you sell to the trade?

A) Yes, we are in fact a sub distributor to the trade markets. This ensures our prices to you are extremely competitive.

Q. Do you export the products?

A) Yes, we export worldwide.

Q. Can you convert the coin mechanisms to accept Euros

A) Most machines (such as arcade machines) can be converted to accept any currency by re-training the coin mechanisms. Machines that have payout mechanisms (such as fruit machines) can be converted in most cases however the style of the payout mechanism can restrict this procedure.
